For the second part to our "Creating Narrative and Copy" task we were required to create a mood board which would reflect the story we had created within the last session. At first I created the mood board seen below, however as you can see it lacks in movement and the ability to emote. My mistake with the first mood board was that, although I had set up up in a storyboard fashion I had printed out all the images at around the same size before the workshop, therefore I couldn't bring across a sense of hierarchy to the piece.
I then went back to the computer and Printed out the images and a few alternative images in different sizes as I saw fit and then juxtaposed these onto the board in a way which would both try to tell the story but also highlighting the most crucial parts.
I then added the title of the story onto the board in the typeface of "Futura". I chose this font as I felt it was simple yet gives a fun, almost comic book like feel to the piece with its deep width. However unlike Comic sans, this font is simple in approach and style therefore adding a more professional feel.
On reflection I feel the second mood board works really well in displaying the fun but chaotic theme to the story whereas the initial board looks bland and lacks engagement.
